Óin Full Name: Óin Name Meaning: Unknown Aliases: Unknown Birth Date: TA 2774 Date of Death: TA 2994 Race: Dwarf Parents: Father, Gróin. Mother, unknown Siblings: Brother, Glóin Spouse: Unknown Children: Unknown                   History: Like his brother, Óin fought in the Battle of Azanulbizar and accompanied Thorin and the other dwarves in TA 2941 when they went to reclaim Erebor and the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug. He also fought in the Battle of the Five Armies and settled in Erebor afterwards. In TA 2989, together with Balin and a few other dwarves, Óin went to Moria to recover it for the dwarves of Durin’s Folk. Balin became the Lord of Moria and Óin went to the upper Armories of the Third Deep. When later, the Orcs of Moria attacked, Óin lost his life to the Watcher in the Water and the rest of the dwarves lost their lives to the orcs.
