We are glad to have you here Ninlor! I know I feel different from other girls, and so do a lot of people here. So you'll fit right in - this is a great place for LotR-obsessed 'misfits.' 
That's cool that you're an exchange student - that must be a very interesting experience. I always would have liked to do that, but I don't think my parents would willingly hand me over to a foreign country. So I'm a native of the US, still in the US. 
Enjoy your time here, I bet you'll love A-U.  (It rocks.)

Greetings and  Ninlor. I'm Elenriel or Elen for short. I am 18 years old and live in the United States. I think that it is so cool that you are a German exchange student! Anway, it is very nice to meet you. I am so glad you decided to join-with your passion for LOTR you will fit right in.
I would love to live in Middle-earth as well...namely in Mirkwood, Rivendell or Lothlorien.

You and I seem to be very similiar, other than that I hate coffee I'm not very much like other girls either, because I've had a different childhood, I guess. Don't worry, your not the only one who talks more with a keyboard, there are a lot of out there, and a lot of girls who don't conform to the normal expectations of "girl". Yay! Gondor, yes I would love to live in Gondor as well. Or even Rohan. And yay for swords. You don't collect swords do you?

Okay, Nik is perfectly fine with me..
I would like to collect swords, is just a bit difficult if you're 'only' 17 =) and their not really cheap.. but I really want to have the Andruil..  do you collect swords?
