Hello there everybody!! I'm Fletcher Hawkmoth but my real name is Tom or Tingols if you wish.

I found this website after finding a link to it on the one-ring where I am known as Turin Turumbar. I'm a big LOTR fan and am having a LOTR movie Fest this Wednesday. All three extended editions in a row! I've read the Hobbit, the triology itself, unfinished Tales, Tales from the Perilous Realms and the Silmirillion(sp??) so I know a fair bit

I am in the sixth form at school and am currently writting a fanstasy novel called the Legend of Fletcher-Hence the name so if anyone is interested just ask!

Very interesting! What is the novel about? What kind of fantasy?
Anyway, welcome to A-U... glad you found your way here, is seems you will fit right in. You might be interested in the LotR related sub-forums. We have a wide selection of tasty discussions going on. Also the Your Life board is a great place to get to know the members here and the RPG boards might interest you, since you like writing.

LotR fest sounds fun. I had a LotR EE marathon last Friday with a friend of mine... 'twas great seeing them again!! Enjoy!!

Owh.. one question: What is Tales from the Perilous Realms, what is it about?

My fantasy book is very similar to Lord of the Rings as in that it is that kind of fantasy. Fantasy rather than Sci-Fi. Do you want me to send you an extract?

Sounds great. You could post it in the fanfiction section so more people would see it, and then you'd also get comments if you like, on your work! *smiles*

Welcome Fletcher! What a fascinating introduction!! Your novel sounds grand, I would be interested in reading some of it.

It's great to hear of your LotR and Tolkien fandom; which is so evident. Gah, a LotR-fest sounds especially nice to me right now... hope you have lots of fun! *envy*

Nice... although, but you could also make your own thread in the Fanfiction section, if you wish!! :angel:

Wow, it's long, I just browsed through and read the first paragraph. It looks intriguing... I will get back to read more when time allows me! :)
