Hi! I really don't know what cool stuff there is to do on this website, but I joined mostly because of the awesome frame-by-frame gallery. I draw pictures from it every once in a while. If I know the shot I want to draw, I can find it there. It is so awesome! What else can you do here?

Well, what can you do? What can you NOT do here? Lol. On the main site there are all kind of ressources, media, screen caps and graphics!
Here on the forum is everything your heart possibly desires! LotR discussions about the books and movies on the first boards. RPG or Graphics boards. You can request customized graphics, participate in graphics battles or simply display your art!
In the Your Life section you find all the members, and it's a great place to get to know people around here! And then I'm almost forgettingthe Clubs section... well, title says it all. Any club you may think of is there and if it isn't you may start one!
I'm sure you'll have a great time here. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to post here or PM me!

Welcome Sam_is_my_hero! I've already seen some of yer posts in the Movie Discussion section, so I'm glad you've started browsing around.

Like EA said, we've got posts for almost everything 'round here, haha! In fact, I'm sure at times you might feel slightly overwhelmed, as I did at first. If that is the case, don't hesitate to ask questions, we'd love to explain!

Oh, and I'd *love* to see some of your drawings! I draw fan art quite a bit myself, and I'm always curious to look at others.

Hello, Sam_is_my_hero! Welcome to A-U. I'm Shadowcat (on a *possibly* temporary name change). If you have questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.

As for what you can do here, you can do pretty much anything. Obviously you can talk about LotR, you can join in RPs and clubs, and you can always request a special avatar or banner for your signature.

Just look around and you'll find somewhere to post.

to A-U! As I'm sure you've figured out by now, there's a lot of stuff to do here. I love the gallery too....I really wish all my other favorite movies had stupendous galleries like AU does! This site is really awesome. Just jump in to wherever you want to talk!

Oh, and I'd love to see some of your art too! I like to draw--haven't ever really done screencaps though. Sounds interesting!
