Welcome to the forum Arya.
Here in the Introductions forum is the perfect place to meet people for a start! You will soon have a couple of pages of replies in this thread with people who will welcome you - we are a very friendly forum! Another good place to go to meet people is in the Your Lice forum where you can meet the members of A-U and talk about anything going on in your life.
If you have a specific interest besides LotR, maybe Eragon, lol, you can try to look for the Eragon threads in the Book and Movie section.
If you need a banner and avatar you can ask in the Graphics Request forum where plenty of people will be glad to help you out!
Feel free to post here if you need any tips or help or PM me if you have any questions or concerns. :angel:

*agrees with what Eä said* Definitely. The best place to get to know others would be Your Life, but the best place to meet others would be Clubs. Either way you'll get to meet loads of awesome ladies and gents. :) Anyhoo, hope you enjoy your stay here and I hope I'll see you around!
