Well, I am new, and I have a ton of questions...

But first of all, how do you put a picture under your screen name? Not in a sig, but I mean a little miniature pic over on the left?

And what about the title/rank/whatever it is? Do you just get a random one when you register? Because mine says movie extra automatically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You've got a load of questions and I hope I've got answers for you. :)

<s>[1] The little pic under your screen name is an avatar. You can get one by going to your profile and clicking on "Show Gallery" at the bottom of the screen. Once you've clicked that several different pre-made avatars should appear and you can choose which ever one you'd like.
If you don't want one of those, then you can always head over to the Request board [Numenor] and request one from one of our members.</s>

[2]The rank/title is based on how many posts you have. Everyone starts out as a Movie Extra. :yes: As you get more posts you'll move through the ranks. Here's a complete list of them-

Nope. You can post general things about religion [such as "I'm a Christian", "I love Christ", etc.] just as long as you aren't bashing other religions or starting a religious discussion. :)

*sigh*

I'm having a rough time. I don't know how to put pictures in my signature, and I tried to make a poll but it kept saying I needed at least two options even though I HAD two options.

And can I post fan fic stories here and if so where? I don't want to be annoying or in the way, but I am oh so confused!

To post a fanfiction: Go to the fanfiction board (Hall of Fire) or just click the following link

From there: click on the New Topic button and make a post as you did here

To upload a graphic in your sig:

First you must upload the image. To do this go to an imageuploading site. I use ImageShack. ( http://imageshack.us/ ).

Click browse. Find the image on your computer and then hit "host it". From there, it gives you some codes. Choose the one for a forum and copy and paste it into your sig.

If an image you want to use is on a site and the site lets you directlink simply put [img]%20%20[/img] around the url of the image in your sig. So it will look something like [img]sigurl[/img] (remember to omit the spaces)

To put a signature picture you will need a URL link of the picture
Then you would Click your PROFILE link at the top bar and scroll down to the Signature Box.
You uses this code [img]url%20of%20pic[/img]
You will put the code here ^ (in between the brackets but with no spaces). Hope this helped!
