Hi, my name is Philippa (most people call me Pip though) and I have decided to join these forums...

To be honest, I am DEFINATELY a novice at LotR and couldn't actually finish the books, getting bored at the begining...

*hides in corner squealing "please don't kill me"*

So....yeah, I think that's all you need to know about me, I've never been very good at these introduction thingies...

welcome, Oak Tree! :welcome: that's ok, there are tons of different kinds of LotR fans here and that makes a really diverse and interesting group of forum members. and by the way, if you're wanting to learn more about Tolkien stuff, this is a great place to be. the discussions and topics are awesome...i know i've learned stuff. ;)

no, we won't kill you for not reading the books. :no: there are others here like you, and to tell you the truth, i'm reading TTT right now for the first time.

anyway, i'm Gwenneth, but if you want, call me Gwen. ;) if you have questions concerning the forum, don't hesitate to ask or PM me! when i first started this kind of thing, i asked people a bunch of questions, too. i thought i was being a pest, but really, at some point everyone has to.

Don't worry we won't kill you, but instead I will encourage you to read the books. They are really good once you get past some of the 'boring' parts. Anyhoo, I'm Larael and WELCOME to the forum!!!!!!!!!!! :)
