Hi, I'm new to this forum. He he, actually, i'm new to pretty much any forum, i've never really used them before. Tips and hints are sooo welcome!
Anyhoo, i just love this site, and i've heard my friends talk about froums, so i thought i'd try it. hope to hear from some of you

Hey Lady Ara!! This was also my first forum back in April; 1125 posts later and I'm still here :) Hope you like it! There aren't really any "tips and hints" that I know of...just don't be shy :) The more active members the better! Do you know how to get avvys/banners into your sig?? If you don't I or someone here will be happy to explain it to you :)

Thanks everyone! actually, i dont' really know how to get things into a signature, i was a little confused as to what a signature was. anyhoo, i will be on vacation for the next 4 days, just so no one thinks i'm ignoring them.

welcome Lady Ara! :welcome: i'm so glad you joined us. :-D i'm sure you'll have so much fun here.

a signature (usually called siggy or sig for short) is a little area for you to put whatever you want! most people use banners (like mine of Miranda), avatars, or glitter names. you could also put a quote you like there, a verse to a song...pretty much anything that says "you". ;) oh, to put an image in your signature, type in the URL (address) and then put [img]and[/img] before and after the URL. example:
Image .

tips and tricks? hmm...there aren't really any i can think of other than the banners in sig thing. just make sure you post often! ;) as Beriadanwen put it, the more active members, the better!
