As you may have guessed (*points at title*
) this thread is to commemorate TT’s first year on AU. 
It’s been an amazing year for me and I cannot thank you all enough for making it so. 
I can hardly believe it's actually been a year... It's seems like it's been longer. I think I've grown more (though it doesn't seem like it, I know 
). Anyhoo, I’m not really good with words (and especially not with speeches ) so please bear with me. 
TT came to AU in Sept, 2006. I needn’t go into how I found the site… It’s a weird story.
Anyhoo, I found it, and fell in love with it instantly. I spend hours just reading the posts of the fantastic members of this site. I watched FM go… (:() watched the AU winter ball of 06, and really felt like this was a special site with amazing people. But, because I felt shy and young (yes, you all scared poor little TT ) I waited until May before joining. Now, I wish I had joined right away.
After I did join, well… lol, I still haven’t posted as much as I felt I should have. For the longest time I’d still just browse. That’s my one regret about this past year – I haven’t posted enough to really get to know the people whose posts I’ve been reading for over a year. So, I’m making a resolution to post more this upcoming year. (yes, and you guys thought this year was bad!
)) But, actually, I guess I did join at the opportune moment: right when AWE came out. So, I really did get to meet some wonderful people through that. 
(Even though I was arguing with you all )
Anyway, enough of that.
What I really want to stress is what you guys (ALL of you) have meant for me. You’ve meant the world to me. It’s amazing to know that, even after I’ve had a hard day where all my RL friends seem to have disappeared and abandoned me, I can visit AU. I can talk to people who will listen, understand, and raise my spirits. And, when I’m not down (;)), this site is just… I can’t describe it, really. You are all very sweet, intelligent, happy, and just over all-ly wonderful people to be around. I want to say “thank you” for making this site so perfect. 
Now, for the specific mentions.
I really feel bad doing this – you have all contributed to the awesomeness of AU. You have all touched me in one way of another. I might have talked to you, or just read your posts, but, either way, you’ve effected me for the good. And I thank you for that.
Callionel(PD) – Ohmygosh.... I have no idea where to even start with you!
You’ve been everything to me: my friend, my mother, my PotC Obsession Role Model, My Personal Posting Coach, my Ranting Buddy, and my Advanceness Interpreter. 
I cannot tell you how honoured I am to be considered your friend. Lol, for this speech, I looked back to where we first met… Wasn’t it fitting we met arguing over PotC? And then half a month after that you adopted me! I’m still amazed you did it… I’m so glad you didn’t hold anything against me; I honestly don’t know if I’d still be on AU without you! I've enjoyed every single one of our long many long, smilie-filled, PMs and posts. You are such a bright, sparkling, bouncey, sweet, funny, intelligent, and just a fabulous person. And I am blessed to have met you. 
Now, I could go on, and I did promise to make you die of blushing (;)) but I've decided to hold off for now, and I will continue to slowly torture you with my praise throughout the up-coming year. Therefore, instead of dying instantly and painless, your torture will continue! 
Nah, PD. I luv ya! And you mean the world to me. Oh, and I almost forgot: *spins teh PD around in a weird sort of insane dance*
Turwaithionel Swann - Oh, deary!
You don't know what you mean to me! Really, you don't. I've truthfully enjoyed every PM I've received from you... I love talking about basketball, traveling, and books with you (:P) as well as the more serious stuff. 
You are a really strong, and admirable person, darling. Your unwavering faith is a wonderful and inspirational thing to behold. I hope life gets better for you. And I'm ever so blessed to be considered your friend.
Johnny's Fan - I was intimidated of you, JF. For the longest time.
You have one of the largest presences on the forum. And no wonder why! lol, with your long and many posts, my dear, you are impossible to miss. You seem to be always on. I remember early on, in the AWE thread, I was shocked because every second post was yours. So, and unsuspecting TT asked you if you ever slept! You have an amazing sense of humour, about anything from PotC to Pink Duckies of Deathly Doom, and all else in between. (And additionally your comments about my smilie-filled posts have earned many chuckles ) Plus, who could fail to mention your gorgeous graphics? 
One can truly say, JF, that AU would not be the same without you.
Larael - Oh, I haven't talked to you nearly as much as I should like, dear. But, from the times we have talked, and from your posts that I read, I know that you are really, really a beautiful person.
You are so sweet and kind... And a perfect leader of the WT. I wish you the best in everything. I hope life gets better for you. And I hope I get a chance to talk to you more this coming year!
Ánië Súrion - Aw, I'm not sure what to say about you either.
I'm realizing now that I did talk to you more then I thought I did (;)) but hardly enough. 
You're such a sweet girl, Anie. And I'm glad we're talking more regularly over PMs now. I look forward to continuing to.
[MissJones] - How could I fail to mention my dearest sister?
I'm just starting to get to know you now... but you seem like a wonderful, bouncy person! And I wuv that! I am ever so glad you joined my family (because you're amazing, but also because I like having a fellow Jack supporter ) and you're an awesome sis!
pirateoftherings - You, too, I met in the AWE thread. You are so knowledgeable in everything, potr. Mainly potc and lotr (;)), but also places to visit in Texas and the like.
I will never forget how helpful you were there. And your sense of humour is also impeccable.
Teh WT - You guys are awesome!
Loved the chats there (and sorry for the "mile long posts with a squllion smilies" (a quote from Este ). Great group, and I'm happy to be a part of it.
Hereyena's Line - Huzzah for the best family on AU!
