Mae Govannen everyone. My name is Erkenhelm Silverdragon. You might be curious where this name comes from. It is a name that I came up with myself almost four years ago, obviously heavily influenced by one, Erkenbrand. It is the name of my main character on the MMORPG the Lord of the Rings Online. Based on the guidelines for names of the people of Rohan I came up with this name and have loved it ever since. Silverdragon is rather simple: I love dragons, and the color silver sounded the best . I don't mind being called Erk for short.

I had been on this site several times in the past but never explored it thoroughly, and I was surprised to discover the chat and these forums. Being one who absolutely loves discussing the lore of Middle-earth, I signed up immediately, hoping I would be able to find people to have discussions with. Around here where I live it is near impossible to find anyone who enjoys Tolkien's works as much as I do so I jumped at the chance. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have already checked out the Doriath forum and posted on several threads going back to 2006 (didn't realize I had gone that far back lol).

I love lore discussions, they can be virtually endless and everything brings up something else. So many tangents keep the conversations going and extremely interesting (I just like that smiley lol)

I bought a second copy of it as well, although I bought the second addition one. My originial is starting to to kinda fall apart from having carried it in my back pack when I read it in high school, so I wanna makes sure it stays in usable condition.
