Mein Name ist Sieben... But I promise no more Deutsch from me. I think most times I speak a good English and I would like very much to improve by practice. I am 17 years old and was introduced to Der Herr der Ringe by my father as a child. Apart from the Lord of the Rings, I also like reading many other books and watching many other films. My favourite film is Sieben Jahre in Tibet, or Seven Years in Tibet, with Brad Pitt. My name comes from this film. Many hopes to talk with you soon! Tschüs! Xsiebenjahre |

Willkommen Sieben, so glad to have you with us. We have people from all over the world, and a lot of us don't speak Enlish as our first language. I'm from Denmark, the Southern part, so I learnt a bit of German in school (okay, actually I had German classes for 6-7 years but it never made me any good at speaking it.. so let's not talk about that!  )So your username is Siebenjahre because of Seven Years in Tibet?

Wilkommen, Xsiebenjahre! Your English was fine in your opening post. I took German for all four years of high school and am taking it now in college (I have a test in German tomorrow, actually!). I love the language, although I don't think I'm very good at it even after all these years. XD I look forward to seeing you around the site! |

Welcome to the forum! You're opening post was fine. I had a friend who was an exchange student from Germany, and she taught me some German words....although I admit I forgot all of them. Anyway I hope to see you around the site!
