Hello everyone, After a week of looking around, I decided to join this forum, since I've been a HUGE LOTR-fan for as long as I can remember. Besides LOTR, I also like most other fantasy movies and books, I love listening to movie soundtracks and my favorite season by far is winter (hence the username  )Anyway, I looking forward to meet you! Haaiiii and welcome to the forum, Inverno. We're so glad you're here. My favorite season is spring.. which is just around the corner.. really, it is!!  Well, I have a question then.. can you recommend any fantasy books or series? |

Welcome to forum! I also love fantasy movies and books, most of the books that I read come from the fantasy section actually. Hope you stick around, see you around the forum! |

I'm a huge fan of Robin Hobb, she wrote several trilogies with crossing storylines, but I recommend you start with the The "Farseer" Trilogy. Besides that, the books from Juliet Marillier are also great, although they are more like romantic fantasy stories and I also really enjoyed "The Dwarves" from Markus Heitz (it's a four part serie)

Ooh nice.. I've heard a lot of good about Robin Hobb but never read anything from her.. I'm quite picky with my fantasy.. after reading LotR most other stuff seems dull. But thanks for the recommendations. |
