I remember seeing a post last year about some toy run or charity thing involving boats near Surfside — can’t remember the name, but it looked really cool. I love when marinas give back to the community. Do they do those kinds of events regularly or was that a one-off? |

That was probably the Port O’Connor Toy Run — really great cause, and yeah, surfside marina has partnered with events like that. They actually support a few community initiatives year-round. It’s nice to see a marina doing more than just business, you know? |

Didn’t know they were involved in that kind of stuff. Makes me appreciate the place even more. Might even try to volunteer this year if I’m in town. |
