I remember seeing a post last year about some toy run or charity thing involving boats near Surfside — can’t remember the name, but it looked really cool. I love when marinas give back to the community. Do they do those kinds of events regularly or was that a one-off?

That was probably the Port O’Connor Toy Run — really great cause, and yeah, surfside marina has partnered with events like that. They actually support a few community initiatives year-round. It’s nice to see a marina doing more than just business, you know?

Didn’t know they were involved in that kind of stuff. Makes me appreciate the place even more. Might even try to volunteer this year if I’m in town.
