| Post subject: | Help! Phone vanished after a party |
Okay so my phone just disappeared after this house party – either I left it in an Uber or it’s chilling at someone’s couch. I tried calling but it’s dead now. Any suggestions for a reliable way to track it down? I’d really appreciate a “find my lost phone” app or site that doesn’t need me to have installed anything beforehand. |

That’s such a bummer about your phone! Been there—lost mine at a friend’s BBQ, thought it was gone forever. First, try retracing your steps: check the couch cushions at the party spot or ask the host to peek around. For the Uber, log into their app or site (help.uber.com) and hit up “Find Lost Item” to contact the driver. If it’s dead, tracking’s tricky without prior setup, but I stumbled across find my lost phone , which claims it can help locate phones without pre-installed apps. Worth a shot! Last time, I found mine wedged in a car seat after pinging the driver. Good luck! |
