I’ve always kept my hair pretty classic, but recently started working in a more creative office and feel like I could try something sharper. Someone suggested a high taper fade, but I’m not sure if it’s still considered professional. Has anyone here tried it in a business environment? |

Depends on the workplace, but high tapers are pretty versatile if styled right. |

I switched to a high taper fade a few months into my new job at a design agency. Initially, I had concerns about how it would be perceived by management, especially during client meetings. After doing some research, I landed on this high taper fade style and asked my barber to keep it clean and sharp. The result surprised me—it looked modern but polished, and it actually helped me stand out in a good way. A lot of my coworkers started asking where I got it done. I make sure to keep the sides tidy and use some matte product for the top to keep it professional. So, I’d say go for it if you're aiming for a stylish yet respectable look. Just tailor it to your industry’s vibe. |
