hello, i'm a newbie as you can see ^_^;

i'm slightly new to LOTR (my boyfriend got me into it, he's alittle obsessed i think, lol) i started off reading the books which i really enjoyed now i'm trying to focus onto the movies. i've seen FOTR and only half of TTT (yeah i'm alittle lazy, lol) but i can say i'm really enjoying them so far

i've visited Arwen-Undomiel.com many times in search or LOTR info (i LOVE the site btw, great job keep up the good work) then i saw this forum and decided to join ^_^

Well, I'm 13 years old and I live in Missouri, USA. If you're comfortable, where do you live?
I was first introduced to LotR when the FotR movie came out...only 5 years ago? Oy.

Welcome to A-U, Elven Queen!! We must thank your boyfriend for getting you into LotR! Right now I'm kinda preoccupied with HP and the awesomeness of the Chronicles of Narnia movie that I don't talk about LotR much on here anymore :blush:

It's a start! :) The books are better then the movies so no worries. Are you watching regular or extended versions?

right now just the regular versions, they're the only ones i have. i'd love to see the extended ones but i currently don't have the money to buy the whole 12 disc set :'( it's expensive right now

And, by the way, i only managed to watch the extended edition for ROTK and i've been dying to watch the extended editions for FOTR and TTT.Anyway,welcome to the forum.
