Greetings everyone . I'm Eärwen and I'm the latest newbie . I'm a great fan of Tolkien and all his works . And though LOTR is a unique masterpiece indeed , my personal favourite is The Silmarillion , because of the detailed information about the elves ( my favourite race ) which it offers . However . Just wanted to say hi and pleased to meet you all . |

Hi Eärwen! Welcome to the A-U forum! I love The Silmarillion too, although the first time I read it I had to keep looking in the glossary to remember all the elf names - it seemed like all the male elves had names starting with F's! Hope you have a great time here, and thanks for joining! |

Thank you all for the warm welcomes . Tis a wonderful forum and I'm glad I've joined . And thanks for the offered help . Till now I didn't encounter any difficulties , but if I do I surely won't hesitate and will call for help ^.~ By then , see you all around and enjoy yourselves . I know what you mean . At first I also constantly checked the glossary for all elven names and terms . But the good thing is this happens only at the first reading
