Hey I'm Banana_Republic and I'm obviously new around here. I've been a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit since my mom read me the books when I was a kid. Unfortunately I only have one friend who really understands my obsession with LOTR so it will be good to talk to some other fans  . Most people haven't read the books and think the movies are too long  .Cheers. .

I wouldn't mind them being any longer either. Someone thought I was crazy when I told her I could quote every line in all three movies because they are so long. Ok so maybe that is crazy but I can't help it I love them.  Of cousre I'm not sure if I could do that any more, at least not without watching the movies.
