Just regestered, I call myself Lindethiel, but if your looking for something short...Cazz or Cazza is just dandy! :-D :)

Was wondering, how do i put my pic and sig-pic up? :duh:

Hi Cazza, and welcome!! To put an avvie up (the pic) there's a button on the bottom of your profile that says show gallery, and you click on one of those and then click select avatar. For the siggy, you type [img]then%20the%20link%20of%20your%20banner,%20and%20then[/img]. (no space between [img] and the link. (I didn't get how to do that either when I first joined.) Anyway........I hope you have a great time at AU!!!

Hugs and welcomes all around! If you enjoy fun, LotR and are a teeny bit crazy(or a lot!), you'll fit in just fine. Hopefully Varda's explanation helped, but I have one suggestion for you: if you have your own avvie you want to put on, go to the bottom of your profile and click on "browse" this should show you all of your personal saved pics. Click the one you want, and submit. Hope that helps! See ya around,

Soz, all this avatar jargon stuff isn't used where i come from! But we do have 'em...they just ain't called avatars!

Welcome to AU :)

Avatars are the icons underneath your username, and your signature is underneath your post. You can upload your avatar as well as add a picture/banner for your signature on your profile page (click on 'profile' in the link menu at the top of the site). You need an URL/Internet address for your banner, which you put in the signature field. Upload a picture or a banner to http://www.tinypic.com or http://www.photobucket.com (for instance) and then put the code like this (in the signature field):

[img]URL%20for%20your%20image%20here[/img]
