Hi to one and all.

Like many others I am new here, although I was on the old board for a very brief period of time before I came a little unactive :blush:. Anyway hoping that won't happen this time. Here is a little about me.
My name is Vicky (short for Victoria). All my friends either call me Vix or Vicky either one I do not mind. I love playing netball (a sport here in the UK and mainly all over the world although I don't think it is very big in the USA). I also love going out with friends and watching movies and just hanging out and listening to music. My favourite band is Coldplay and I desperately want their new album lol.
I have a confession...I have never read the LOTR books. Mainly because i'm not sure I would like them as much as I like the movies. Maybe that will be my challenge for this summer. I loved the LOTR movies since they first came out. I have not got the extended edition of any of them although I really do want them. I just have to settle for the normal version for now.
Anyway I think I have gone on a little too much. I hope I get to know some of you really soon and I hope i'm not too unbearable to cope with around here :P and I will enjoy getting to know you all.

Hello Eámanë Falassion! That wasn't really a "quick hello", was it? Well, it does not matter. I enjoyed reading the 'story' you put up in your introduction. Welcome to the Arwen-Undómiel Forums, Milady! I hope you will enjoy your stay and posting time here ;).

Oh, and I can assure you: you will love the books better than the movies!

Coldplay rocks! I love them sooo much. You need to get their new album, I have it and I love it. It's kind of hard to compare it to A Rush of Blood to Head and Parachutes cause they were so awesome and there's a lot of people saying that it's not as good but don't listen to all of that. Bottom line it's a good CD whether you think it's better or not as good as the first two. I know you didn't ask but I thought that I would tell you :P

Read the books!! They're BETTER than the movies. Trust me. And get the extended editions they're awesome :)

I have heard a few people say that but after hearing about half of it (my friend has it :annoyed2:) I loved it. A Rush of Blood to Head was my favourite out of the two but you are right, they are just so great. Thanks for the welcome as well lol. I think this will be by little mission to read the books over the summer now.
