Ever get...a odd URL sent to you in PM?(Private Messaging)

Dont open it trust me. If you read the url before clicking it and it seems, odd. Then just dont click. You may run into something very disturbing. I learned this by mistake and I hope no one esle will have to go through that. Also the url might link you to a virus infested site. So stay safe, click safe!

nahh all i saw that was disturbing was random and weirdly strange people joining the forum and posting all sorts of R-rated things ... you DID report it to a mod, right?

Let me add this. If someone sends you such a thing, don't just NOT click it, send an SOS to the A-U Mod account to tell us who did it. Or if there's a mod on, immediately contact him/her. :) We need to know if people do that to y'all.

Thank you for the warning Eldárwen.
If I ever get a pm like that I'll let one of the moderators know, Ivreniel.

As long as the user HAS posted, we can BAN their IP (that's like a computer address, Haldir) so they CANNOT have access to our forums. It's kind of like one of those internet security programs, where if it's set to not go on a certain site you can't get on. If their IP is banned they can't register or post!

Thanks for warning us, Eldarwen and Ivreniel!
I've never received a PM like that, but it's good to know what to do when I ever get one.
