A Ringer is anyone who is a fan of Lord of the Rings, which would be you and me!

Under my name is an avatar, which you can find yourself or pick from AU's many lovely ones. Underneath my post is my signature, made up of banners. There is a great section here call Requests, where you can ask members to make you avatars or banners.

To put them into your sig or avvie, go to "Profile". For your signature, take this code: [img]YourURLhere[/img] and paste it into the Signature box.

To put in an avatar, go down to the "Avatar Control Panel". Here you can upload one you have already saved, or you can choose one from the gallery. Click on "Update", and you're set!

Welcome Starglass! I am Riniel Aranel, or Riniel, or RA for short. I'm 14 and from the US, and that's just one of many nationalities and ages represented here at A-U. We all have one thing in common, thouhg: we love LotR!

I'm glad to see most of your questions are answered. Another place to get banners in on the Arwen-Undomiel site under media. As long as you credit Arwen, she doesn't mind you choosing from her large selection! And if you have a graphics program such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, you could learn how to make banners yourself. I'm sure there are some tutorials around here somewhere.
