That's like saying, that saying "Welcome" is a form of spam.
Spamming an internet forum is when a user posts a message that is off-topic or has little relevance to the subject being discussed, or a post that fails to contribute to the thread. Lastly, there is also the case where a person posts messages solely for the purpose of increasing his forum ranking.

Technically it's not spamming. It's a jokingly way of me saying welcome to my friend.

To be honest, I find it humorous.

muahahaha! welcome dearest chooser! :welcome2: i am truly glad that you have decided to join this forum that is full of awesomeness... :bye2: ! i hope you like it here, there are so many things to do! do you like to make banners and/or avvies?!?! well there are many contests you might like to join (aaand if you dont its okay, im just shooting blindly here :blink: ) there are also writing contests, fanfiction, clubs about anything you can think of...and if you can think of somthing thats not a club you can always make your own 8) tee hee.....there are many ways that you can entretain yourself and i hope you have fun posting around..... :trampoline: if you need help then you can pm me, or people who already have welcomed you...and if you dont need help, but just want to talk aimlessly then do pm me, for i can talk aimlessly like there's no tomorrow! :lightsabre:
