I don't think I cried any during Fellowship or TTT, In Rotk, I hardly cried cause I really didn't want to cry in a theater, and I wouldn't be able to see the screen very well if I was bawling. lol. I almost cried when Merry and Pippin say goodbye, and when Frodo leaves at the end. I did cry a little when Denethor told Faramir that he wished he had died instead of Boromir, and when Frodo says "Go home, Sam". I was thinking, "Nnnnooooo, don't leave him!" lol

I cried when the fellowship was formed , when Gandalf "died", when Boromir died, when Frodo and Sam are in the boat, too many times in TTT to name, same goes for ROTK. Especially for ROTK. The theater got flooded, I was crying so much.

FOTR: When Frodo and Sam leave for Mordor, when Sam says: 'I made a promise, Mr. Frodo, a promise! Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee, and I don't mean to!"
Gah that bit got me all emotional...
TTT: Hm... not alot makes me cry in this... except when Haldir dies. DAMN YOU PETER JACKSON FOR THAT!!!
ROTK: 'You bow to no one' and the ending. *sob*
And one line that really gets me: "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" Ohhhhmygosh Sam you are so brave and loyal... *cries*

I don't think I've cried, but I came close to tears. And I still find it difficult not to cry when I watch the movies.
Some parts are so sad!
(I cried when I read the books)

The book didn't make me cry... except right at the end when Sam says:
"Well, I'm back." *sob*
I think I am gonna be so sad in the extended ROTK version when I see Eomer scream when he sees his sister almost dead on the battle field...

I cried at a few parts in the first two movies, and starting when Merry and Pippin left each other I started to cry and kept on crying.

I cried when.....
- Pippin left Merry
- Frodo left the Undying Lands
- Pippin thought Merry was dead.
I cried through other parts, but I cant remeber which ones.

"I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!"
Sam made me cry so much, like half sadness but also happiness because he is so loyal and brave and strong...
Also:
"My friends... You bow to NO ONE."
An entire people, along with powerful Elves, down on it's knees in respect of four little hobbits. WOW.

RotK- Let's just say I cried from Sam's "Strawberry" speech on Mt. Doom to the end of the end credits. I was SO glad I didn't see the movie in theaters!

Ah see I did... I flooded the cinema on my own, I think!
Yes, the strawberry speech was so sad... but also when that pipe music started as Sam and Frodo were collapsing so near to the entrance to Mount Doom... *cries*
