I can't tell people that I am really obssessed with LOTR because they are always rude to me or they make fun of me. Which I don't get because LOTR is the coolest book/movie in the WORLD!!!!!! I am glad I can discuss LOTR online at this forum.

All my classmates knew that i am obsessed with LOTR! When they see me, they'll be like 'Where's the ring? Where's the ring?'
I went gaga over LOTR while i was in Secondary Two. At that time, 1 was 14. Everyone in my class at that time knew i was crazy about LOTR. At one time, my teacher gave us the permission to decorate our own tables with whatever you wants. You can paste any favourite pictures of movies/actors/actress/yourself on you own table. This is to personalize your own table. So, there i went printing pictures of LOTR and paste them on my table. The whole of my table was filled with LOTR pictures! And, soon, everyones knows about it!
Furthermore, i even had 3 files/folders that contains newspapers and magazine cuttings/photos of LOTR.And, when i showed it to my friends they all went
Once, my school library had a movie screening of FOTR. And since i was a librarian in my school, i was so excited about it. I told my teacher i wanted to be the one in charge of the movie screening. I was mad when the students in my school said that LOTR was such a boring movie! To me, LOTR is the best movie ever!!! I just felt so disappointed for them!!! To those of the students who don't understand what's going on in the movies, i explained to them.
Also, last year, my teacher decided to have 'show & tell'. We were required to bring our favourite things and tell to the rest of our classmates why it is your favourite things.
So, i brought a replica of my one ring, the evenstar pendant, a HUGE ROTK poster, LOTR keychains and not forgetting the 3 files/folders that i mention above. Again, all my friends went
Also, my history teacher had prepared a slideshow presentation of WW2 and i realizes that she uses one of the LOTR soundtrack for the music background! I was excited and i kept telling my friends that the music is from LOTR and all they could do was smile. hehe.
Hey, thansk for reading this you guys! I know tis is a very very long entry.oops.

I normally don't tell people at the first meeting how much I like lotr, because most of the times the look at me with a face wich you can read on : wow, how can you be a fan of THAT???
But my best friend is really totally into LOTR and we always talk about it when we are together. So I'm not the only one in my class

Yes, I get made fun of, but here's my opinion: They'll all work for me in ten years anyway
lol i know, i know. i'm a very proud LotR fan[slash]nerd. whenever i recite something in Quenya/Sindarin/Black Speech my brother goes: NERD (in a very disgusted way, lol)! But i don't care, he's a Star Wars freak so i call him nerd on a daily basis.

I like talking about LOTR. I have one friend whow is really obbsessed, just like me, but her internet is broken, or else I'd have her join this forum. I'd make her. But we talk a lot about it. Make jokes that no one else gets. I have a lot of friends who are familiar with it, so that's good.

I love fantasy fans in general, but especially LotR fans! Everyone's so nice and it's fun to talk to people to listen...or read as the case may be...and care about what you say. My friends hate fantasy and especially LotR. My ex-best friend used to yell at me for being obsessed with it! Meanwhile she reads nothing but anime. I don't see what the problem is. I don't get why people don't like it. Because it doesn't have girls running around in mini skirts and tops that barely cover their upper body? Then my friends don't want me to do the Gollum voice around them becuase "it's creepy" but they saw the movie and didn't complain... Sorry I'm ranting but this gets me really mad!
My obsession: all the books (movie too), all the movies, tons of action figures, dolls, pictures, posters, artifacts, clothing(hoping), 3" binder of pictures
That's not a bad obsession. My ex-friend stalks this guy at her work that doesn't like her at all! No one talks to her anymore, and the sad thig is she doesn't care!
Sorry about the ranting. If you read all of this you proved my point: LotR fans are great listeners and awesome people!
