I can't do it. I was only able to sit through each of them once, maybe twice, all of the way through. I can't stand sitting still for an extended period of time, I have to move.

I actually did that! My friend's family was having a LOTR party on New Year's day a couple years ago and they have all the EE's, so they invited my family over and we watched all of them non-stop. That's 12 hours of Lord of the Rings!

^Half my friends don't even have the patience to sit through one of them, let alone 3! You should count yourself lucky to have such friends!
I've watched all three comentaries in a row, if that counts.
I was sick; thats about the only time Mum would let me park myself infront of the TV for that long.
I also watched at least 3 hours of the extra stuff after that.
I've also watched FotR and TTT together, but I didnt get to RotK.

I watched all three EE's in a row once, but it took like, 13 hrs (with food, bathroom and drink breaks). But I didn't get tired of it, though. My best friend was begging me to turn it off half way through the first disc in Fellowship of the Ring! I told her she had a long ways to go to becoming a total LOTR freak. LOL! I do it at least three times annually, if not more. It's a great use of time, for me anyway. Thus far in 2006 I've done it...four times.

yes, i have... once. i barely made it all the way through, though, so i don't think i shall be doing it again anytime soon. the only way i survived was by drinking 7 cans of mountain dew and 3 cups of coffee.
yes, there were bathroom breaks galore, but i survived through it, didn't i?
