I can't do it. I was only able to sit through each of them once, maybe twice, all of the way through. I can't stand sitting still for an extended period of time, I have to move.

I actually did that! My friend's family was having a LOTR party on New Year's day a couple years ago and they have all the EE's, so they invited my family over and we watched all of them non-stop. That's 12 hours of Lord of the Rings! :-D

^Half my friends don't even have the patience to sit through one of them, let alone 3! You should count yourself lucky to have such friends! :P

I've watched all three comentaries in a row, if that counts.
I was sick; thats about the only time Mum would let me park myself infront of the TV for that long. :P
I also watched at least 3 hours of the extra stuff after that.

I've also watched FotR and TTT together, but I didnt get to RotK. ;)

I watched all three EE's in a row once, but it took like, 13 hrs (with food, bathroom and drink breaks). But I didn't get tired of it, though. My best friend was begging me to turn it off half way through the first disc in Fellowship of the Ring! I told her she had a long ways to go to becoming a total LOTR freak. LOL! I do it at least three times annually, if not more. It's a great use of time, for me anyway. Thus far in 2006 I've done it...four times.

yes, i have... once. i barely made it all the way through, though, so i don't think i shall be doing it again anytime soon. the only way i survived was by drinking 7 cans of mountain dew and 3 cups of coffee.

yes, there were bathroom breaks galore, but i survived through it, didn't i?
