- Gildor instead of the Passing of the Elves
- Glorfindel instead of Arwen for the Flight to the Ford!
- Arwen at the CoE
TTT:
- Elves didn't ALL get killed at Helm's Deep because that's just unreal
RotK:
- Scouring of the Shire > Voice of Saruman
- Elladan and Elrohir...

Haha, it's been fun reading through this thread. I can't believe I haven't posted in it before, considering it's 3 years old.
I don't have any objections to the movies these days. Whatever minor 'grudges' I held at first have all been washed away and now it's more wee things here and there that I would have loved to see since I liked them in the books!
FotR - The Barrow-wights of the Barrow-downs!!! They would have looked SOOO cool on screen.
TTT - Quickbeam!!!
RotK - The Scouring of the Shire! (although we do get to see a wee bit of it in FotR).

FotR: Bombadil and Goldberry! Man I love those two. Also, Glorfindel. The first time I ever saw FotR I was like, "Glorfin....*beep*? What's Arwen doing there?"

- Glorfindel! GLORFINDEL!!!! And I saw the films before I read the books and I still want Arwen to get lost... How dare she steal Asfaloth?! Then maybe Frodo wouldn't seam to be such a wimpy cry baby if we'd seen him faced of the Ringwraiths...

TTT- Even more Rohan! Who cares about Fangorn or Frodo and Sam?! Just show me more Rohan! 
RotK: As much as I love the Capitan and the White Lady scene I want it to be longer! It just seams like Eowyn realises that she can't have Aragorn so she'll just have the next man she sees.... such a sort time.. In the books it took a lot longer... I want that in the film but I can understand why it's how it is... _________________

I definetly agree with elu in the fellowship Glorfindel should have been the one to go and find Frodo it's his horse not Arwen's that made me so mad when I first saw it.
In TTT I would change the fact that elves do not go to Helms Deep and therfore Haldir cannot die!
And as with most people have said the ROTK should have had the scouring of the shire as it allows the hobbits to show more of their toughness and resiclliance.
well my little rant is now done this was a very good idea I feel much better now _________________
