Post subject:  Boromir's Fear of Flying
You know in the Pass of Caradhras and other mountain scenes, the cast and crew had to fly to the locations on helicopter. But Sean Bean was scared of flying. So guess what he did? He took a ski lift to the mountains and hiked the last few miles in full costume.

I know! I loved Sean Bean for that! I would totally convince myself to fly because I didn't want to climb, but he stuck to it!

That's so funny. In full costume! Imagine that....... Hey, isn't that Boromir climbing up that large mountain? Where's the rest of the fellowship? It would have been a sight to see.
Personally, I think it would be really exciting to fly in a helicopter, but like Mornie said, we all have our phobias.

Yes, I remember seeing that on the FOTR documentary. I always found it funny that Sean Bean, leading man and Hollyywood villain playing someone as courageous and noble as Boromir..was a bit of a pansy when it came to flying! :lol: Mind you judging the the turbluence I don't blame him, but hiking and climbing up mounatins in full costume seems a bit much. ;)

LOL I did not know that :) I hope he bet the fear of flying at last after LOTR at least
