Pip's foot is falling off in the marshes... And Lego's arrows constantly change color.

I think that in the movie a big mistake that PJ made was that he didn't give the character Eomer enough credit. To be specific, in the book (The Return of the King) it was Eomer not Eowyn that Theoden ask to take over Rohan if the battle goes ill. Yet, in the movie it was Eowyn of whom he ask to do so.
Another example is, going back into the first and second installment of the movies. In the book, (The Two Towers) it talks on how a man of Rohan which I assumed it was Eomer killed one of the Uruk chieftains, Ugluk. But yet, in the Fellowship of the Ring (movie) they used Aragorn to kill Ugluk.
That disappointed me greatly to see that Eomer part in this epic film was taken so lightly.

Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
