Post subject: | Movie mistakes |
I've just read some topics about mistakes in the LOTR movies and it makes me sad because they are my favorite movies, I love the actors and all about them. Does all the mistakes make them to bad movies? Or is it just the whole picture that counts? Do you think they deserved all the prizes and the good reviewes? Could someone cheer me up ![]() Aftenstjerne ![]() |

I think if you take a close look at any movie, there are mistakes to be seen. But it's just these movies we've seen for so many times, we discover little flaws and share them, because we're fans ![]() The Lord of the Rings has earned so many Oscars, I'm sure they deserved it! I truly believe this is the best movie ever. Actually, recently there has been a poll going on in the country where I live, and this movie came out best of all! |

^ I agree with that. Every move has flaws, we point out the flaws just because we are fans, and have seen the movies soo many times. I couldn't have said it better myself ![]() That's cool that and logical that LotR came out as the best of all in your country! LotR just rules all. I could watch it for years and never get tierd of it ![]() |

I've heard of/seen lots of mistakes, and sometimes I laugh, but I don't take much notice of them. They don't detract from the value of the movie. Every movie has mistakes. In my opinion, these movies are the best movies ever made. They diserve to win even more awards than they have. They're totally amazing. The mistakes matter very little, because everything else outweighs them a thousand times over! ![]() ![]() |

I don't there is one single movie out there without mistakes, it doesn't make them any less good, it only shows that the directors are human too ![]() To cheer you up, you can always visit http://www.moviemistakes.com to see what other movies has faults in them, it'll show you that LotR defintiely doesn't have the most mistakes and that it's not the only film who has mistakes ![]() Hoppas du känner dig bättre snart ![]() |

I'm from the Netherlands and I think I understand what you were saying, Child of Odinn ![]() I also wanted to point out, that it took one and a half year to shoot the whole thing... So it's no more then logical things happened during the making. I know movies that were shot in a few months (or weeks) that have more flaws then LotR did! But those are movies you will probably don't watch over and over, so many don't actually see the flaws anyway! And I defenately don't take the effort to share them, because I don't care so much about other movies really. Aftenstjerne, (wow what a name, I had to look back several times ![]() I hope my statement will make you feel better ![]() |

I've purposely tried to stay away from lists of goofs in the LOTR movies, because I'd rather not know - it might spoil my enjoyment of the films! So how did I come to be in this thread? ![]() But you better not let any slip ... 8) |

The movies do have a few mistakes, but unless u look very closely u don't notice them. Those mistakes are minor mistakes and don't affect the story at all in my opinion. |

There are a few, but it doesnt make the movie bad at all! It is still the greatest movie ever! Many movies have some mistakes in them. Its alot of work for the director to have to go and fix em ![]() |

Is that elven magic or CG mistake?? I wonder... |
