Out of the five main character deaths... which one made you the saddest? For me it was Gandalf...
I mean Theodred's was sad because of his father's grief... but Gandalf was a kick in the heart for fans of the fellowship...

I thought Boromir's death was the saddest. Not just because I'm a fan, but in the end he wasn't so "evil" after all.

Yeah, he was really a hero at the end by dying for Merry and Pippin. He must of felt bad about what he did to Frodo. He was never really a bad person, just that the ring tempted him like it did so many others

Theoden because Eowyn's reaction and just knowing him throughout the movies and then dieing a horrid death, his speech was also a killer.
Also his death hits close to heart, my uncle died when i was younger and it just hurt

Gandalf of course! I had read the book and the vote was already given by then cause I thought, that how is the fellowship going to manage without gandalf

I cried when Theoden died, it was horrible the way died. Eowyn was so sad, I hate when people in the movie cry......it breaks my heart.

Theoden's death really affected me... it was just so tragic. I cried when he died. Gandalf didn't really die, so I guess it just really didn't have the same effect on me. But Theoden's death was so emotional... it was like I was there and it was one of my relatives dying.

Oh I know how you feel! There is something horrifically WRONG and unnatural about seeing a dead Elf... it's just NOT MEANT to happen!

Voted for Theoden's death. But it was hard to choose, all deaths are sad and I'm affected by them really easily. I cry every time I see the movies, even when Gandalf falls, I guess a lot has to do with the reaction of the others.
