Hahaha, I was flipping through the channels and what did I see was on??? Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring... it is currently the mirror scene but I was lucky enough to catch it at the beginning. I love how TNT and TBS continually show this film, it brings me back to the days when I was awaiting for the movies to come out in theater and the hype of the trilogy. I miss those days and am just glad to know that the film is still wanted and kept in people's hearts that they play it....

I know that this was a while back...but I watched the movies on TNT too, and it was so much fun! I love watching LotR in TV, even with the commercials. There is a sense of fellowship when you know that tons of other people are watching the movie at the exact same time as you on the same channel. :)

ALL THREE MOVIES WERE SHOWN TODAY!

Every time I watch these movies I feel myself going back to the day I watched them the first time and Fall in love with Middle-Earth all over again. The same raw emotions that I felt the first time pop up again and the reasons why I feel in love with LotR in the first place come ramming into me unexpectedly.... all weekend LotR was shown and I am more obsessed again than I have been in a while.

I love when TNT shows these movies, it brings me right back into the fandom and I couldn't be more thankful for remembering all of the good times I have had with LotR!!!

Don't mind me I am just reminiscing while bawling as RotK is coming to an end, the big fight for Middle-Earth with all the one liners:

I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.
How about side by side with a friend.
You bow to no one.
For Frodo....

CRIES UNCONTROLLABLY... I LOVE YOU LOTR!!!!!

I feel the exact same way as you Pandora! I LOVE YOU TNT! Gah, I'm reminded how lucky I am to have fallen in love with these movies, for if not, I never would've found AU and met all of my closest friends in the world.... :( *hugs everyone tightly*

"The power of the three rings is ended. The time has come for the diminion of men."

"Here at last, on the shores of the sea, comes the end of our Fellowship. I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil. It is time, Frodo."

"We set out to save the Shire, Sam, and it has been saved. But not for me."

"The last pages are for you, Sam."

Aww, here's a hug for you dearest

I wish there would be more and more as well! I don't want LotR to ever end... EVER! There has to be more... gah. I hate when Trilogies end like that. But PJ set out to do what he had to do and direct some of the most wonderful movies ever made... he put so much time and love into them and I think all we can do now is be thankful that he took up the job in the first place.

*desperately wants a 'Frodo Lives' t-shirt*

*gasp* A Legolas t-shirt?!?! Me want it!

AHH! Those bloopers are hilarious! Especially the Merry and Pippin one! "I just wanted to get a closeup!" Lol when Ian throws Sean off the table...

That was great, and Ian gets all in Sean's space and that cheesy smile of his... aww it was brilliant. I like looking for bloopers, some of them are quite hilarious! I really wanted a large compilation though, from all of the movies, every outtake and blooper, maybe it will be in the 25th annivesary

Post subject:

Yes, I hope they do put all of the bloopers on the anniversary edition [if there is to be one] and more endings of what happened to each character... like Legolas and Gimli and Pippin, etc. And they should do an alternate ending with Galadriel doing the voice over too.

Oh I wish PJ were reading this thread and taking everything into account... that would be brilliant.
