Who did you like better in the movies? Gandalf the Grey or Gandalf the White? I would have to say Gandalf the grey. He liked to laugh more, and he liked to enjoy life and he didn't have the same concerns that he had after he became a white wizard. How about you?

hmmm.. a hard one.. I love Gandalf, both the grey and white... but i had to vote grey.. he seemed to remind me most of the Grey Gandalf in the book ^^

Personally I thought they were both the same people on the inside, just different on the outside. I loved them both, because really they are the same people. Gandalf reminds of my granda; loving, quick to laugh, good-natured, but also, serious, and strong-willed.

I agree with Larael. I can't really vote for either because he was still the same Gandalf. The same old loveable wizard.

I think I prefer him grey, he's more familiar and uninformal. everyone can trust him when he is grey but when he changes to white he almost scares people

I think Gandalf the Grey because in most of the scenes in Hobbiton he seemed so carefree and funloving, like a grandpa. But Gandalf the White is so wise and equally awesome.

Hmm... I must say that I can't decide.. I like both of them the way they are.
I like Gandalf the grey, because he's so funloving and just like a grandpa kinda and also this has been his original colour and he's been Gandalf the Grey for many years.
I also like Gandalf the White, because he has a really powerful appearance and he finally is in the rank he deserves in my opinion.

Hmm.. this is though! I guess I'll go for Gandalf the Grey.. He's just so friendly, and less concerned.. Although Gandalf the Wite was so powerfull!

well originally when i saw TTT i like gandalf the grey more because he was looser and laughed more....but through the movie ( especially the EE) i grew to like gandalf the white and by ROTK he did seem to loosen up a bit more, especially by the end when they were all in the room laughing.
so i think im going to have to say that i like them both equally now

I like white better. It looks better I think adn also he has a cooler staff. lol
