Another independently made movie based on Tolkien that comes out on December 1st. It's about Arathorn and Gilraen, I believe. www.bornofhope.com It looks like it's going to be pretty good! |

(I'll reply here since I can't reply on the original thread.) I saw the movie last night and I thought it was good. Certain parts of the moive could have used a little more from the actors and scriptwriters but overall it was very enjoyable. I must admit that watching Arathorn's death made me teary. 
Little Aragorn was adorable though.

To not have had a very big budget I think it was a really good movie. I would like to see more from them. |

Oh yeah, I saw this! In my opinion, it was really great. My dad said that it was so good, it could be on TV! I have the soundtrack on my iPod, and it's just really beautiful. My favorite song from there is Bloodline of the Kings (credits song). |

I saw it too a while ago. Amazing what they did with the budget they had! I'd like to see more from them as well. I want to make a movie like that one day. Someday. Eventually. We'll see.. |

I actually was on a panel with Kate, the lady who directed BoH. She is a very nice and friendly individual. Not to mention a very dedicated fan.

Yeah, she basically had to promise Tolkien enterprises that she would never make another LOTR ran film, but she is working on some more original films. |

Oh, i want to revive this topic!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely LOVED Born of Hope!!!!!! I think Elgarain is really cool! Oh (SPOILER ALERT) I was soooooooooo sad when she died! |

Born of Hope is still better in following the actual Lord of the Rings storyline than PJs fanfic. |
