Just read about this in the Facebook group so I will copy my response from there. Wait wait wait... WHAT???!!?!!! O_O I don't know whether to say, "Sweet Silmarilions!" Or simply, "Oh crap!" They had better do this right! I mean.... Yeah it has a TON of potential. It's Tolkien's Middle Earth! However, if they screw it.up it is going to be so far from Kosher we won't be able to touch it with a ten foot pole. O_@ Needless to say I am quite on the fence about this news. ------ (Face book comment end) Now for a follow up, I did read that the tv series is going to be about events prior to the trilogy.... So they are not re-making the movies in existence.... So that is a little better but still..... My comment stands. |

I created a Middle Earth TV thread since it appears to be happening. It could be good, or go horribly wrong. And as for your facebook group, I'm in the eternal 'waiting for approval' bin for the last year or so. |

Yeah, don't know what is up with that... I looked and see no one I can let in. I am not an admin, though. I mentioned it to he admins a while back when you had said that and they said there were no names waiting to be accepted. I can ask again though. |
