Yeah, I didn't understand it either now that I've read what I wrote. OK, here is the extract form one of the FotR parodies I found on the Council of Elrond site :

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gandalf- You're giving everything to Frodo, including your Ring?

Bilbo- Not everything, but yes, he gets my Ring!

Gandalf- Where is it?

Bilbo- In my pocket.

Gandalf- Take it out and leave it!

Bilbo- You want it for yourself

Gandalf- Bilbo Baggins, do not take me for some conjurer of cheap tricks! *Pulls bunny out of pointy hat*

Bilbo- Eeeeek!

Gandalf- I forgot you're afraid of bunnies!
-----------------------------------------------------

I thought that this might be what the *pointy hat trick refers to*.

Hope this is clearer.

Thanks, Merenwen. It helps.

Is it just me or does Lothlorien of the Elves sound backwards????

They wanted it that way. I think they mean, Lothlorien is where the elves live...and so, it's the "Lorhlorien of the elves"

I hate possesive adjectives...whatever...and stuff like that.
