that movie would have to have ridiculous amounts of digital animation(i.e.dragons and balrogs in large numbers)then they would have to do Bauglir himself....

Well..Digital Animation doesn't really COST alot but the process and paying the workers is what costs alot.

I don't think The Silmarillion would ever be possible, except in tv series form... it stretches across too many thousands of years, includes an extremely large amount of people and countries...

Plus tis even more complex than LOTR so... nah. Couldn't happen.

It would be awesome if they could do it! But it seems like it would be ridiculously hard and confusing to do! :confused2:

But you never know, they could *maybe* be able to pull it off.

I'm trying to see how it could be done... but I just can't imagine it. Too many people, too many details and across a huge span of time!

Oi vay........the Silmarillion would take forever to make and it would probably have to be done in like three hour sections.......even with that it take forever........another thing is there are loads and loads of characters and the story goes in all different directions.....switching between one story and another. Maybe one day........years from now.........someone will find the time, patience, devotion, and not to mention money to make it. :-D

LOL the actors... I couldn't imagine anyone taking the place of certain characters... i.e. Galadriel and Elrond!

The Silmarillion mainly provides background information that leads up to LotR and The Hobbit. It is a compilation of tons of different incidents and each more exciting than the last, so it would be a really complicating movie with that many different things happening at once. And remember, not all of the incidents are connected to each other, unlike the LotR where one incident leads up to the next, which leads up to the next, and so on. Yes, it would be incredibly expensive. :bye2:

I had a weird dream last night. I was always thinking about this 'movie', but instead one of just Luthien and Beren. I was Luthien in my dream, very strange dream, but I got to act. Cool! I always wanted to act.
