I was wondering how many times everyone has watched the movies and how many times a year do you watch them.
I've seen thw whole trilogy about 10 times. I watch them 2-3 times a year.

I've seen the theatrical editions 4 times and the EEs 12 times, for a total of 16 times. Obsessed? Not a bit.

gee, I'm not sure... I've probably only seen the EE 3-4 times and the theatrical versions (more or less time depending on which movie) about 10-11 times.... so I actually haven't really watched them a whole lot .... roughly only 14 times in total.

Ummmmm...I have no idea. It probably wouldn't be pretty if I was able to post a number on here! More times a year than you, though, Peregrin Took!

You're probably right about that, but unfortunately I have no self-control.

I wouldn't be able to watch them every month! I not sure that they'd bore me, but I just wouldn't have the time!

Uh...I will try to count.
This past year...there was one day I watched all three, and a weekend wehre I wateched them all, and a day where I watched TTT, I think...and I've watched RotK by itself, and FotR too, actually, I think...
*gives up*
I've seen them a lot. This summer was the third year, I think, that I had a designated LotR day in which I watched the three movies back-to-back.

Hmpf... well I saw each of the Theatrical Versions in Cinema when they came out. And then I saw the theatricals several times on DVD when those were released. Then when I got the Extended Edition Box set I saw each of the films several times (and have been watching them from time to time ever since). I've also had four Extended Edition marathons. And I've seen each Extended Film with all of the four commentary tracks twice.
So my answer would be; a lot
I watch the Extended Trilogy at least twice a year

Saw all three in the movies more than once each.
Then the theatricals all a few times each.
The EE's I can't even begin to count how many times.

I've seen them at least 4 times whole, but there are times I've watched just bits and pieces. I'd say once a year, at least, recently it's been more'n'that, though.

OK, let's see if I can even try to calculate...
Well, I saw FotR in theaters 5 times, TTT 4 times, RotK 6 times... and then of course I bought them all on DVD the day they came out, and my parents bought the Extended editions the day they came out... and I used to make a habit (before I had something called a life) of watching all of them at least once a month...
*thinks for a while* The best estimate I can come up with: I've watched FotR about 60 times in all, TTT about 30 times in all, and RotK I think 16. I haven't watched any of them since January now though, I very, very rarely have 3 - 4 hours where I don't have to be doing something else. I intend to watch them all before Christmas however.
