Not exactly which is your favorite, but which one do you personally relate to the most in character and personality? Or, is there one character that dealt with a situation exactly as you would have? Whatever the reason, tell us how you relate to that character!

I chose other for Pippin. The reason he is my favorite because all my friends said I do some things that relate to him. So that is why I voted for Other.

With Pippin!
He reminds me a lot of myself. At the beggining of the journey he was kinda childish and carefree like me.After going through all the journey, he grew up emotionally, like me,who also is going through some stuff and is growing from it.

hmm.... I relate to different characters at different times but I would say I relate mostely with Sam because I would do anything for my best friend and I wouldn't want anything for it. Also, Sam has taught me (or Tolkien has taught me) that I can move on if my best friend (or, I guess, my mom) dies.

Gandalf! I know, I know.. he's my favourite also, but I really do think I have some of his character traits. I'm a good mediator and I like to help people... isn't that enough?! People seem to be able to talk to me too so I'm good with giving counsel as well. And of course some days I'm so quick to anger *sigh*

I don't have the long hair, white robes or the staff... but that's not by choice friends :annoyed2: lol.

i would say eowyn or galadriel, i love swords and to fight, and also can't live if i don't have a east-facing window, and every quiz i take comes up saying i would be galadriel, every time, it is kinda scary

I voted Eowyn because I really appriciate what she says when she talks about fearing a cage. Like myself, she is passionate about the things that she desires, despite the fact that sometimes she will never get them and they are unreasonable things to want.

She is one of the most human characters in Lord of the Rings, and by that I don't mean that she is less elvish, dwarvish or whatever, but she is one of the least perfect characters, especially amongst the women. I really like the way that the Rohirrim especially are very normal characters in an extraordinary world.

Hmmmm. This is a really tough question. I'd say that I'm a lot like Eowyn/Frodo. Eowyn because I stick to what I believe in (I think I'm very opinionated  ) and will fight for what I believe (not all physical fighting, remember) But I also think I'm like Frodo because I feel like I need to do things alone, and am sometimes unsure about myself and what I can do.

I think Eowyn because I wrote a poem and everyone said it reminded them of Eowyn. But I also think I'm much like her, chasing dreams, trying to get out of a cage. Wanting to fight for those I love.

i think i relate most with eowyn. first of all, my friends all tell me i remind them of eowyn, and i connect with her story in many ways. she is tough and passionate, but like anyone else is vulnerable in some ways. plus standing on the front step of the golden hall at edoras with the wind blowing all round is something that i would definately do in my spare time!

oy. i really don't know. i've gotten tons of different answers in personality quizes. *google searches to find (what may seem) an accurate LotR quiz* here we go:

http://www.zovakware.com/tests/lordoftherings.htm

i was Merry in both of them. :) i guess i can see that. i want to help my friends when they're in trouble, fight for those i love even though i'm just a 'hobbit'. people also know i'm kinda spunky and have a sense of humor. but i wouldn't say i love food quite as much as Merry does. :P

EDIT: i just realized a lot of people say they identify with Eowyn. hmmm...

I voted Aragorn, not that I have experienced the kind of things he has but I can understand his journey the most and I can understand where he's coming from the most
