Hadhafang is a beautiful sword , made so flawlessly and it seems to just glide through an enemy on the films, But I also love Narsil. Its lines are so clean and the blade is so crisp looking it has to be admired. What abot the twin handed elven blades used by the elves at the last alliance and by th elorien elves?they are ace, they should have been in the poll too....

I don't care so long as it's a sword!

I love metal working tho. to me a sword is not just a piece of metal hammered into a shape, it is hours of labour, love and care in making a thing that is practical and beutiful @ the same time

I echo those sentiments. To me a sword is a piece of art as well as a weapon. I've got 3 different ones, and just to swing them is exilerating (sp?).

Amen friend, Amen. The rohirrim would embellish their weapons with carvings. I think that if something is going to save your life in battle, it deserves some decoration!!
