We all know that every Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies have a song at the end of the credits that play into that certain movie. I've always loved this. Every time a new movie came out, I'd be so excited to hear the song. Anyways, what is your favorite song?
Enya- May It Be (Fellowship of the Ring)
Emiliana Torrini- Gollum's song (The Two Towers)
Annie Lennox- Into the West (Return of the King)
Neil Finn- Song of the Lonely Mountain (Hobbit:AUJ)
Ed Sheeran- I See Fire (Hobbit: DOS)
Billy Boyd- The Last Goodbye (Hobbit: BOTFA)
My favorite? I See Fire by Ed Sheeran. Freaking LOVE.

Same here, mostly because it is in fact Thorin's song, a little sad, but it doesn't make me cry (since the only song that does that is Into the West, and mostly because of the inspiration behind it, not the song itself). I thought that The Last Goodbye would make me cry, but it didn't (though I've yet to see the music video, so who knows what it will do to me then). My order of preference for the end credits songs is the order I prefer the Hobbit movies in: DoS, AUJ, BoFA.  _________________

You know, I can't really get into The Last Goodbye. I have no idea why. It just doesn't capture me like the other songs, I guess. I mean it is a beautiful song and awesome they incorporated Billy Boyd. Maybe I just need to listen to it more to like it more. *shrugs*

Without a doubt my favorite is into the west. Love that song and always have. Sometimes I would just put that song on repeat.
I thought the last goodbye was good and did like the way they had Billy boyd in it. As soon as I heard him I knew it was him. I have always loved pippin's song and if it were the ending credits it would come close to a challenger for Into the West.

May it be is a good one too.
I know that a lot of people like it but honestly "I see Fire". Is the only one I can't get into. It doesnmt sound. "Middle earthy" to me I guess.

That's my problem with the song of the lonely mountain. My sister and I agree that they should have left the song at the tempo from the movie, maybe even left it to the cast to sing the song, it sounded better with the dwarves singing it in my opinion.

Yes, I love the dwarves' singing. . It is a good song in the end credits I just don't get a middle earth feel. However, as much variety as could be in Middle earth O suspect anything is possible.

I'd say Song of the Lonely Mountain and The Last Goodbye.

Tough choice.. I'd say "the Last Goodbye" as my overall favorite, because to me it was the perfect song to end Middle Earth's stories on the big screen. But "Into the West" and "Song of the Lonely Mountain" share a second place, because they fit their respective movies so well.
