This is such an amazing track, What i find so completley sad, is the fact that music theme is brought back into most sad scenes within the Lord of the Rings, which brings us back to the memories of happy times, before corruption, and when life was fantastic for all hobbits, It's sooo soooo sad the way Howard Shore did that and i believe that it worked absolutley perfectly!

This is one of my favorite songs on the FotR soundtrack, and my favorite theme from the entire trilogy! And I agree that the way Howard Shore used this theme throughout some of the most heart-wrenching scenes only heightened the emotion felt towards these characters - especially in the RotK soundtrack: "The Black Gate Opens." I want to cry every time I hear that song.

I can only agree with you Frodos-Guide, I absolutely love the way Howard Shore created the LotR soundtrack. It's so beautiful and also makes me feel very emotional every time I listen to it.

"Concerning Hobbits" is one of the songs I can get randomly stuck in my head during the day. Then I can't get rid of it...but I love it anyway! :-D

Its probably my favourite LOTR soundtrack, howard Shore is a genious, It can make you feel either happy or sad, It depends on the circumstances.

Keep finding myself humming it randomly throughout the day :D

me too and it's amazing how Howard Shore has created so much amazing music that provokes such emotion... there is just so much of it it's mindboggling...

Concerning Hobbits is a wonderful piece of music, i love it! It's such a happy tune :) FOTR is most probably my favorite soundtrack, Howard shore is indead a genius in his work.

Yep, FotR is my favourite soundtrack too!

I love Concerning Hobbits :-D It's one of my favourite tracks, so beautiful :-D

Howard Shore composed it so perfectly!! I absolutely love Concerning Hobbits. It's can be so sad and happy all at once!
