Ya I saw that, all three have complete recordings also. I though prefer just the regular soundtracks. But that is just me. :D

How did you manage to get them for all three movies? Lucky dog. I bought FotR last year (I concur, the Passing of the Elves is phenomenal) and am about to purchase TTT.

It is just not possible for you to have an authentic Return of the King Complete Recordings because it hasn't been released yet.

This is the Fellowship of the Ring one:

This is the Two Towers one:

I managed to get the TTT Complete Recordings yesterday (only time I'll ever spend eighty bucks on a CD, gah) and it's just as good as FotR! Beautiful, too. I'm especially excited about this one because there's a fair bit of hammered dulcimer- my favorite instrument.

You lucky duck there! *envy* TTT is my favorite of the soundtracks so I am particularly excitied about its release. I have the FotR one already which is absolutely magnificent and I hope to be able to save up for TTT soon!

It's ridiculous how expensive they are, isn't it? Drives me nuts, but you notice I shell out the money anyway. :P

I agree hobbit_ fan! I have both FOTR and TTT and Nienor I sure did shell out the big bucks and will when ROTK is released. Did someone say they already had ROTK? How did they manage that? :confuzzled:

Umm, I shudder to ask, but how much would it take to purchase all three complete soundtracks?

No!

:'( I wish it was not illegal to pirate music. :'(

Yeah, well over $100- the first was $60 and the second $75. I imagine RotK could be ninety.
It's not just the music I buy it for, though. The packaging is absolutely beautiful, and the forty page booklet on the music can't be found elsewhere. Neither can the DVD.

Nienor, that is so very true!!!! :) Have any of you had the great privilege to have attended any of the LOTR Symphonies? Am I in the wrong topic to be discussing this, if so sorry and I will hang my head down and trot off and find it. :

I haven't, though I'd give almost anything to see a performance of the Symphony.
And you're right, there's another thread for that somewhere out there! See if you can find it. :D
