My favorite one is the moment in the grey havens when Frodo hugs Sam. At that moment the music gets a little bit louder and then I always let fall everything what I'm holding in my hands. And when Pippin or Aragorn sings. And when Gandalf has fallen in Moria.
In fact I love everything of the soundtrack...

The song that Pipin sings while Faramir charges into a lost battle, because of the emotional effect it had on me when I watched the movie. I was like : 'Oh, my God, the saddness.' I almost cried.

Between :50 and 1:38 in the Treason of Isengard on the Fellowship soundtrack.
Why am I such a freak?
And the whole King of the Golden Hall, that gets to me every time.
Actually, so does the whole Breaking of the Fellowship... the first time I heard In Dreams it sent shivers down my spine and then made me cry like a baby.

The most moving songs.....hmm, they all have some vigilance in them but ill put out a few that really get to my heart (either in a happy or a sad way)
Amon Hen - the choir at the beginning sends shrills down the spine and after 2:40....its so melancolic and sad, but yet at the end it goes to prove that hope still remains.
Minas Tirith - The entire song is utterly fantastic but the solo that sings "Siland calad dun tollen rochan lan..." is prolly the most moving and most impressive. The full inpact of the Gondor theme kicks in in its full glory with the powerfull trumpets. My favorite "spirit-raiser" *grin*
The Steward of Gondor - to this song I acctualy knew to shed tears. Its so simple but the pipe played by James Galaway makes it so uniqe, and afterwards the slow Gondorian theme....Speachless! Definetly my favorite and each time i hear it, it moves me deeply!
The fields of pelennor - the slow drums and brass instruments at the start announcing the Rohan theme and it slumps down to a maddening battle song. The choir kicks in and the picture is complete....utter bliliance to witch i acctualy feel like beeing in a real battle. Fantastic!

I absolutely love the part in "The Black Gate Opens" when Frodo and Sam are crawling up mt. Doom, and the pipe starts playing. That's beautiful and sad.
I also love when Sam decides to carry Frodo and Into the West starts playing.
Pippin's Song. I love it
The drums on The Breaking of the Fellowship, it works out so good.
I know there are more, but I'll have to listen to the soundtracks some more and get back to you. lol

I have a lot of them. One of my favorite (though it doesn'y make me teary) is when the singer guy (Ben somthing?) starts singing in Isengard Unleashed. I love that part.
