Pippin's song is great, also in the Italian version! Billy can sing really good! I think it's one of the best part of the Return of the King !=)

It wasn't Billy who wrote the words actually, I have the notes and lyrics from a songbook, and the words are made by Fran Walsh and the melody by Howard Shore! I think Howard Shore's awesome and I love his music!!!

I must say, I still cry every time I watch that part in the movies. It fits the scenes very well. (the ROTK was the first movie I have every cried on too)

I adore this song. Admittedly, I really hadn't noticed Billy Boyd (noticed isn't the right word, I should say I hadn't really appreciated him) before RotK, and then to hear him sing, I really discovered just how talented he is.

Billy Boyd has the sweetest and clearest voice I've perhaps ever heard [At least from a male, anyway]. If I may sound silly for a moment, I must say that I think he's got the voice of an angel.

I thank Peter Jackson for putting this in the movie every single time I hear it. =P

Wrong, it was. Fran Walsh was with Billy and some others at a bar or something, when Fran heard him sing. She, like everyone else, thought that he had quite a nice voice. So she asked him to write it.

I sat there in my Hobbit chair at home and watched the ROTK... I honestly can say with pride that I cried like a little baby that blubbers all over itself if someone doesnt pick it up. I blubbered and mascara ran everywhere... that was the only part that was embarrissing to me.

Aeroniel has spoken~

It's an awesome song! I was blown away by it during the movie, with the scenes playing in the background when he sang. It was beautiful. I bought the song because I just loved it so much. I'm learning to play it on my flute.

Speaking of Billy singing, have any of you seen him...either on youTube or when he was actually on the Sharon Osbourne show? He sang 'Hit me baby one more time.' It was actually really good. I've watched it on YouTube like, five thousand times.
