Isn't there a extended soundtrack for LotR? I'm pretty sure there is... I just can't remember what its called...

And isn't there a Silmarillion soundtrack?

If there is anyone out there who knows of them... yaa.

There is a Complete Recordings out for Fellowship of the Ring which has ALL the music from the Extended Edition film. TTT and RotK has yet to be released though.

There is no official Silmarillion soundtrack released.

I didn't think there would be an official Silmarillion soundtrack, but one does here rumours now and then. Is there a set date for the TTT and RotK complete recordings?

it's too expensive though, it'll have to wait for Christmas :confuzzled:

Yer very welcome :) I have it - it's the best soundtrack ever! :D As far as I know there are no dates set for the TTT or RotK releases yet. Back in September last year when the FotR was being announced for a November release it said that TTT and RotK would be released 2006 but from the looks of it (considering half of 2006 has already gone by and we haven't heard anything yet) we'll probably get TTT towards the end of the year (around the same time as FotR was released last year) and probably RotK next year. Of course this is just my personal speculation though

I've already heard of these complete recordings.. and I soo wish I had the money to buy them, but they're just too expensive for me :(

Nope, neither TTT nor RotK Extended/Complete soundtracks have been released yet. I wish they had but sadly not.

hey! the TTT complete recordings are supposed to be coming out in late October 2006, according to Doug Adams who has been working directly with Howard Shore!!

Yep, much excitement. The FotR Complete Recording was definitely worth the large price tag.
