wouldn't it have been fun if we could sing the the LOTR choir for the movie? now i know not all of you like to sing, but i do. and i think it would have been so OMIGOLLY COOL if i could have sang. i have a saprano vioce, and can reach most of the notes in the songs. how about you????

yes I admit that would be pretty awesome, maybe even being one of the vocalists too....
I myself am a soprano, but i'm more of a mezzo-soprano because I can sing a lot of the low notes that altos can do. The highest I can go right now is the highest note for a typical mezzo-soprano, but I know I can improve because I'm going to be a soprano in my school's chamber choir (I haven't really had any vocal training before)... so i hope to improve and learn a lot about my voice... |

I'm such an alto, it's sad. I inherited it - both my mom and my grandma are major altos. I love to sing, though, and I LOVE singing Into the West. I can do the piano accompaniment and sing at the same time, which sounds cool. But I don't know if I could have done a choir, I sing lower than some tenors I know. |

I can't. I honestly think I'm almost a tenor, I sing so annoyingly low. Maybe I would improve if I took singing lessons...there's a thought... (Yay for honkers!) |

I was in a choir once, Christmas music, and the director had the altos sing the tenor part. I didn't have much trouble with it. lol |

*refuses to honk* I'm more of a mezzo-soprano. I used to be full soprano when I was younger but as I hit my teens and got older I'm not able to take all those uber-high notes anymore. The AU choir sounds like an awesome idea

I have a friend who sound very similar to Enya and has a perfectly tuned ear. We've all tried to get her to do more with her music but she'd rather be a doctor....go figure. Its so sad though, that shes giving it up. |

That would be cool! Well, I can't say high or low because I can maipulate(sp?) my voice to sound or sing like many different people. I can change from high, to low, to in the middle in a heart beat. I can sound like Amy Lee one minute then sound like Madonna, then go to Koda Kumi almost instanstly. I have a very unique voice.
So i guess to answer your question I can be both high and low depending on what you want me to do.

Hee hee. I can't sing very well. Of course, that doesn't keep me from belting out songs like "Before he Cheats" whenever its on the radio. I can have a really loud voice. And that song is right in my vocal range. (what range would that be?) Just a question. What are the ranges. I know there's alto, tener, soprano,ect, but what are they in order, from lowest to highest? |
