I found that the word hraia was ephemerally used for adj. easy, but later it's meaning was changed to awkward, difficult. Please tell me another word in Quenya for easy, or atleast something to substitute it with.

yeah, there is no word for easy. Tolkien changed it and never put another one instead. But instead of easy I used " with ease", when translated oasie ( or as asie, the two mean the same thing i guess).. But thanks for replying

No worries... I try to help, sorry I could not do more.
Sounds like you know a good deal about the language. Do you have a dictionary and resources or do you just know it all in your head?

It's okay. Well, I use dictionaries, but I kinda like to research the grammar, too.. But it comes easy to me since i've finished a high school specializing in studying languages, hence i know a great deal about latin, and am fluent in english and little bit of italian ( and not counting my own mother tongue).. Sorry if I sound a little bit egotistic, but it was not my intention My point is, i like to translate stuff

Lol now worries I didn't take it that way! I actually think that is pretty cool!
I've always struggled with other languages and would love to learn elvish and some others... but time and life keep that as a far and distant dream. lol

Maybe we could start an elvish language class here on the forum.
Just do something simple like a single phrase a week, or one grammar rule a week etc..
That would give at least a little bit and it would be doable time wise.

Hmm, i'm in... as long as it doesn't take much time.. But the only thing is, we can learn or teach people words and phrases, but not the grammar itself :/

Yeah, I don't have that much time either, so that's a good thing. Oh, how come not grammar? Words and phrases are good too, at least.

okay, i think its best if we started with some simple phrases and then continue with word learning... Well, the grammar will be a problem, since i don't know a single thing.. If you do know, that would be helpful to us... But first we need to decide which dialect are we gonna "study".. I suggest sindarin, for starters

I see. I dont' really know the grammar I figured just look things up if we wanted to. It would probably be an informal "class" though.
Sindarin would work, I had previously looked at Quenya but it's been so long I don't know for sure what the major difference is.
I am a beginner no doubt, what I used to know is mostly gone.

I think a new topic would be better. A good title may interest a few more people.
