I think this is who you are thinking of, Miluiel and Haldir, and she was just wanting to wait for a teacher, not teach us!
Anyways, I started the Quenya course on CoE, and I was wondering if everyone wanted to work through that together, or something. *cough*
I have already learned lots, for example: Matin masta. I eat bread. Very useful, you know, when you want to tell people you eat bread products...

Okay. While your waiting I'll teach you a few things. (But I don't really want to be the teacher).
Heres a couple of sentences.
Quenya
Nai hiruvalye Valimar. means May it be that thou shalt find Valimar
Auta i lome! means Passing is the night!
hísië untupa Calaciyro míri means Mist covers Calacirya's jewls
Sindarin
le linnathon means (to) thee chant-will-I
noro lim, Asfaloth means ride on Asfaloth!
Cuio i Pherian annan! means Live the Halflings Long!
ps I can't believe you guys have five pages+ of waiting for a teacher still.

Okay. Since I'm bored I'll teach you guys more while your waiting for a teacher.
Here are the names of some creatures
(S= Sindarin, Q= Quenya)
Man (s) Adan
Dwarf (s) naug (plural) naugrim
Eagle (s) thoron (Q) soron
Elf (s) edhel (plural) edhil (Q) elda (plural) eldar
Ent (s) Onod (plural) Onodrim (or) Enyd
Goblin/Orc (s) glam (plural) glamhoth (or) orch (plural) yrch
Many of these are in Sindarin but if you read the Silmarillion you'll understand why.
